Is there something wrong with the league page? I can only see two entries

Well done!
More fool me but.... opting for neither Chris Froome or Vincenzo Nibali the two race favourites could be my school boy error....

Can you get the heading of this thread changed to the Vuelta?

Here we go again.

Fantasy Vuelta a Espana

www.velogames.com

League Code: 865211020

Tough to call this one. Most of the Tour's stars have entered, along with the less-fatigued Giro guys. Probably Froome's best-ever chance to do the double. Bertie's final pro race too.

Re: Tour de France 2017 (and Fantasy League)
Thanks Dan and well done to the Baggy Baguettes who won by a street after a long solo breakaway towards the end, really enjoyed this added a little Je ne sais quoi to what was not a vintage tour but it had its moments, fourth in the league I'll take that and in the top 10% overall but was a little green on team selction and the rules , maybe 2 time trialists was a mistake. and one sprinter certainly was a mistake given his performances when the going got tough and sticking in cyclists on their own ability regardless of the team they ride for also needs reviewing. Will be back wiser and stronger next year and hope I remember the Vuelta

Unexpected, not expected!!!

Re: Tour de France 2017 (and Fantasy League)
Thanks for organising that Dan M.

A thoroughly expected and totally undeserved podium finish for me, brought about by the judicious use of a pin and a last minute switch from Thomas to Uran which I was cursing for the first week.

Well I finished a bit better then I usualy do, 3 stage wins and the young rider comp winner, so im happy! Yeah also count me in again for the Vuelta. Cheers for organising the league Dan.

Re: Tour de France 2017 (and Fantasy League)
Nice one Dan, well up for a Vuelta fantasy league, hopefully it will not be destroyed on stage one like the tour!

I'm trying to warm to Froome, he's clearly a great champion, a decent bloke and says the right things but somehow he is distinctly unlikeable. He just comes across as too studied in what he says, no passion and a bit insincere. Should do well at the Vuelta though.

Re: Tour de France 2017 (and Fantasy League)
Thanks for the League Dan, definitely up the Vuelta version.

Well done Froome, a little dull but there was plenty of other stuff going on to keep it interesting. Who'd have thought Michael Mathews and Warren Barguil would win green an polka dot respectively.

My team were finished as soon as Geraint Thomas hit the deck and Peter Sagan got booted out (and when I chose Castroviejo as the demon time triallist)

And most importantly I finished ahead of Def by an enormous small handful of points.

Re: Tour de France 2017 (and Fantasy League)
Congratulations to VeloVic (me neither) on winning the league. Second place is taken by an Orient fan I used to play with for the Old Parkonians and competing the podium is Surface.

If the demand is there I'll set up a Vuelta one next month.

Have to say that the French choose some very tasty mini-skirted fillies to hand over the prizes in Paris. No concerns over sexism here.
